Sophisticates was started by Lachu Man Basnet. Lachu has always liked being alone with a hard problem. As a student he noticed that he got bored fast, with almost everything, except when the problem was difficult enough. Then hours disappeared and the work felt like it mattered.
He has also always been too ambitious for his own good. He thinks years ahead and imagines things that are far too big. Sophisticates is the company he built around both habits: the biggest problems he can find, and the patience to measure before believing.
